Sharpening Crayola CrayonsThank you. Melaniem Feedback About This Post:RE: Sharpening Crayola CrayonsWhen I was a child (100 years ago it seems) my mother would warm them in the oven to make them pliable enough to put a point on them. I assume she used a low temperature not higher than 250 or 300 degrees. Several can be placed in a foil pie pan or on a sheet of foil for a few minutes. Keep testing to be sure not to melt them. Be careful to not burn your fingers. Post By HJ (Guest Post) RE: Sharpening Crayola CrayonsSometimes the back of the crayon box will have a sharpener on it. Check for it the next time you buy a box of crayons:) Post by Siren RE: Sharpening Crayola CrayonsI use a vegetable peeler to sharpen crayons. Save the shavings and use for crafts. Post By Dawn (Guest Post) RE: Sharpening Crayola CrayonsPut the crayons in the freezer for about an hour first to harden them then use the same kind of sharpener that you use to sharpen Eye color pencils. You'll probably need the one that has the large hole. Post By guest (Guest Post) RE: Sharpening Crayola CrayonsJust use a small, handheld pencil sharpener. Post By Peggy (Guest Post) |
