I bought several of these in different sizes from:

They cost around $20
They really are great as you can pull them out of your current purse, full of your stuff, and just insert them in another purse.

I too would like to know either how to make it or where I can purchase it. I love the idea as I am forever changing purses and always scared I will forget my id.

I Googled it and found some nice websites that offer the variety of sizes.
Also, Better Homes and Garden has instructions on how make make one of your own.
