Washing Machine Not Draining

The timer switch on my washer makes a clicking sound and it does not drain. Please help.

I have the same problem with my machine. It only works on normal setting. It does not drain or spin dry on any of the other settings. So, I just use the one setting it works on and deal with it till it's time to buy a new washer. Keep playing with it till you find the setting that it works on. Mine has been acting up for a few years now. Sometimes I have to do what the post above says and manually turn the dial to spin/drain.
