Litter Box In The Tub

I keep my litter box in my bathtub as I use a flushable litter (cat's pride brand-be careful as they make both non-flushable and flushable). It makes it really easy as the toilet's right there. The litter off their feet gets rinsed down the drain. Of course, I take it out to shower myself. I have between 6-8 cats as I feed the stray cats & take them in my home in the cold weather if they'll stay in.

RE: Litter Box In The Tub

I have 7 cats. Four I have raised from kittens and three are older strays I have rescued. All of them live indoors only and are spayed and neutered. I only have 2 litter boxes but they are large, deep rubbermaid containers. I only added the extra litter box when I added the 3 strays to the household. I added the extra box so the new cats would have their own territory and so the other cats would not feel threatened by the newcomers. Now, all of the cats use both litter boxes, and tend to use the original one the most. I scoop the litter boxes once a day. This is a must for multiple cat households.
