Retro Clothing for Larger SizesEdie from Aberdeen, MD Feedback About This Post:RE: Retro Clothing for Larger SizesI don't consider a size 14 large. But then on the other hand, I am past that.lol Post by redhatterb RE: Retro Clothing for Larger SizesSure! vogue patterns has a bunch of vintage patterns and also www.modemerr.com. she's fab and makes every size! Butterick has, and continues to on occasion, reissued 1940's and 1950's patterns, which go up to a size 22 (which is about the same as a size 18 off the rack-- pattern sizes are always larger than your off the rack size!). The patterns are only issued for a short period, though, so you will probably want to look for used patterns on ebay or through resellers. Google "Butterick Retro". Be aware, though, that all these patterns, even though they come in larger sizes, are still sloped for a B cup-- so purchase by your high chest measurement and do a full-bust adjustment. Post By Amanda (Guest Post) RE: Retro Clothing for Larger Sizesigigi.com has some very pretty retro style items but they are very expensive.
