Oil and Grease Stain Remover
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon glycerin
1 tablespoon liquid dishwashing soap (I like normal Dawn dishwashing liquid)
8 tablespoons water
Directions:
Put ingredients in a jar or plastic squeeze bottle and mix. Apply this mixture direction to grease and oil stains on washable fabrics. Let it sit for about 5 minutes and rinse it out. Wash as usual once the stain is removed.

Will this work on set-in stains, or only on fresh stains?

GOOP for handwashing works wonderfully on laundry stains that are greasy or food stains. I rub it into the stain, leave it for awhile than wash as usual; works better than any other product I have tried for greasy stains.

idon't know how this works on everything, but for back splashes around sinks and stoves, use full strength rubbing alcohol. on materials check for colorfastness, but great for magic marker stains. good luck!
