Getting Tar Off a Vinyl Floor
Someone has tracked tar onto your vinyl floor.
Solution:
Rub some butter or margarine on the tar, then wipe it up with a dry cloth. This trick even works on some carpets; thoroughly remove all evidence of the residue with a foamy carpet cleaner.

you can rub tooth paste on the tar to remove it. then just wash floor as usual.
