Mothers and Sons Event Ideas
I need some ideas on planning an event for Mother/Son event. The event should be age appropriate for any age mother and son and be meaningful for the mother and son no matter what age they are.
Our church sponsored a Father/Daughter event with a meal at an elegant restaurant in our city's downtown district and ended with a horse-drawn carriage ride in our beautiful downtown district. This was to celebrate father's day. The mothers of the church had a mother/daughter tea.
I would appreciate any ideas for next year's Mother's Day!

I would do the prince and queen angle, with royal streamers and purple tablecloths and a crown for the Queen Mum, maybe with swords for the young men. Not to be overdone, because these are adults. It could be festive but quality.

Does it have to be girlie? Or could it be something like lunch and bowling or putt putt golf?
Maybe the boys could give the moms corsages they make?
What about a cooking thing? One of our local grocery stores has a cooking school in it. Or a bakery?
Just some thoughts!
