Niko loves to howl and kick a tennis ball around the house. She enjoys her long walks and digging up my yard.
Niko is definately a diva. She has been very difficult to train as she thinks she rules the roost! We love her to death and will continue to try.

Thanks for posting Mina's photo again, but we have given up looking for her owner after all this time. I posted another photo of her recently but I forgot to mention her name. That photo was on 02/28/02. It was a feedback to a young man's question on 02/02/25 "What breed is my dog?" He thought his dog had some wolf in him, so I printed Mina's photo so he could see how she looks since her vet claims she has some arctic wolf in her.

By the way this is my #1 dog.. Noah. He is German Shepherd/ Alaskan Husky Mix and he is 3 yrs old. He is my rescue dog and I received him on Easter.

Its not wolf. Some breeds of Husky are the closet domestic relative to Wolves. Thats why she has those markings. If the pup is part Alaskan husky that will have higher ears and a thinner nose. Black fur is a dominant trait, thus giving her a wolf look. She does look her age. Around the age of 3 she will start to fill out and become more broad. Her face should fill out by the time she turns 2. She will shed A LOT! So expect to sweep and vacuum 3-5 times a week. She will make an AMAZING PET! I bred German Shepherd and Alaskan Huskys.
I have NEVER had a problem with one. They are Quick to learn and are VERY loyal. They stay quiet and prefer to have companions. Also they have separation anxiety when they are alone, so leave a radio or tv on when you leave the house. They are AMAZING with kids. I dunno what her medical history looks like or her pedigree medical history but look for things like epilepsy and malnutrition. If your dog isn't eating right take her to the vet and switch her food. If she begins eating stool feed her true green beans, not the ones from the can, with her dry food. Besides that she should only get between 60-70lbs and 18-23inches. I love this breed.

This is Mina. I rescued her from a kill shelter. She was lost, and she is someone's precious pet. My vet said she is about 4-5 years old. She has vision problems which can be fixed. She is a really sweet girl, she is spayed, obedient, and just the prettiest an sweetest dog. She is an Alaskan Husky, all white. If she is your dog, contact me. I already have 3 dogs; a dachshund, an Italian greyhound/beagle mix, and a german shepherd puppy. I won't put Mina back in a shelter, and if I don't find her owner, I will keep her, but I feel someone must really miss her. She goes to the dog park daily and she really looks forward to it. She is even well behaved there and everyone there just loves her.
I live in Cocoa Beach, FL (central east coast)

First thing I said when I saw beautiful Niko was " wolf ", she definitely has some in her. She also has a bit of a Mona Lisa smile, a dog of mystery. Give her hugs for me.

Jeanine, if you come back to see Niko's pic, I would truly love to see your website and ANY feedback you can give me. We have had our suspicions about Niko but aren't willing to give up. We truly love her and she's a great addition to our family.

Niko is beautiful and also has wolf in her. That's why you are having some problems with training. We don't think your breeder was completely truthful with you. My husband and i have 13 wolf dogs and if you want our website I'll be glad to share it with you...

That is one beautiful dog. I love the markings on Nikos' face. Give her a scratch behind the ears for me, or better yet, a kiss on her nose. Yep, I'm an animal lover! Thanks for sharing her picture with us.

Huskys are usally very hard to train until about 2.5 or 3yrs of age. Then they mature. Niko is very handsome! Keep fighting, he will eventually get it!
