Removing Glue from Teflon

How do I remove glue from Teflon? The glue is from the paper that was glued to the pan when I bought it.

Rub it with a paper towel dampened in mineral spirits (aka charcoal lighter fluid, paint thinner.) This will work on about 95% + of sticky residues or oil. Also, it evaporates and doesn't leave an oily residue. Safe on paint (dried paint!) plastics. wood, glass, metal... most anything. It is is the universal cleaner for almost anything that is not water soluble. Especially good in the kitchen for old oily residues.

Pour enough vegetable oil into the pan to cover the sticky areas. Let it sit for a while. Pour the oil out and wipe out the pan with a paper towel. The glue should wipe right out.

good luck.
