Panty Liner for Removing Nail Polish

When I remove red nail polish using a cotton ball, my hands become covered with the red polish I am removing. I found that if I take a panty liner, cut it in thirds, remove the paper protecting the adhesive, I can pour nail polish remover on the pad and it does not seep through to my fingers!

Also you can use WD40 just like you would use goof off for removing stuff.

I initially thought you wrote "PANTRY liner" and couldn't figure out how those sheets can be so absorbent! :)

Since we're talking about feminine hygiene products, we used Maxipads instead of sponges in college to clean all kinds of things. They were especially good for big spills (as were diapers) so we kept them around the lab. A female friend also claimed that douche solutions were great gentle glass cleaners. We preferred a much simpler and cheaper vinegar/ammonia solution (mostly because I blush buying feminine hygiene products).

The best product for removing ANY awful stain is something painters use called "Goof Off". I have used it to remove extensive dried paint stains from my overalls and nail polish from carpet and upholstery. You can get it at any hardware store or look it up online.

LOL, that's a good tip.

I'm guessing this would work for so many solutions; removing ink from clothes, sharpie from clothes, etc.

I know when I was removing ink from a shirt, the INK just started getting all over the towel. Pfft. I guess the towel is cheaper than the shirt, but it still was bad. :P

Though, that could be awkward, asking my sister for a pantiliner. hahah
