I have a neighbor who used to buy her children chicks every year for Easter. They never made it out of the cardboard box that she brought them home in. Every year she told them that their dad would build a pen for these chicks, but they always ended up dying in the cardboard box on the porch waiting for their pen. Talking to the neighbor did nothing, so one year I talked to her kids instead. They asked their mother to please not get them chicks that Easter and that was the end of that. Hi, Post By Sandy (Guest Post) RE: Easter Bunny Poem
People should also take caution with chicks too, I have seen people selling 'coloured' chicks for Easter presents. They do not stay fluffy and are you really prepared for a house chicken? :) Impulse pets of any kind just aren't a good idea! Post by Melnago |
