Looking For Information About Self Adhesive Glass Block DecorationsThanks, Christina from Alabama Feedback About This Post:RE: Looking For Information About Self Adhesive Glass Block Decorations
You can use sticky back vinyl. The vinyl is very thin.I use it for etching glass items. You can find it at print shops or order it from stainglass shops. Make your own designs. There is a home plotter called `QuicKutz" that you can use your computer for drawing the designs and tranferring them to the plotter. This machine will cut the design without cutting through the backing. Just peel the backing off. There are lots of clip art books on the market. A great machine. Check out the web sight. hi, Post by ilana RE: Looking For Information About Self Adhesive Glass BlockI use a lot of the clings, I make NFL blocks, I buy mine @ our local craft store. After I apply my clings I spray my blocks with glass frost that you can buy @ lowes, home depot it's made by rustoleum. Make sure you wear rubber gloves when handling your blocks, the natural oils in your hands get on the blocks if you don't wear gloves the rustoleum won't adhere to where ever you touched the blocks with your bare hands. Good Luck! I get $35.00 for my large blocks. Connie Post By Connie Windsor, Pa. (Guest Post) RE: Looking For Information About Self Adhesive Glass Block DecorationsI an trying to find out if I should clean the glue or white coating off the sides of the block? Post By Carl (Guest Post) RE: Looking For Information About Self Adhesive Glass Block DecorationsGo to website uppercaseliving.com. They have great decorations that work great for these blocks. My sister has made a bunch with the deck the hall one. Really cool. Use id #227990 and token vanwechel. Good luck Post by christyvw2004 RE: Looking For Information About Self Adhesive Glass Block DecorationsI used apple wallies on my kitchen cabinets. You wet the back and stick them on so they stay just like wallpaper would. I just moved last month and removed them with no problems. Good luck on your project! Post by suzi_homemaker01 RE: Looking For Information About Self Adhesive Glass Block DecorationsWhy not just contact the 'Wallies' people and ask them? It is only a mouse click a way! Post by Lisingreece RE: Looking For Information About Self Adhesive Glass Block DecorationsHi, I've been making glass block night lights for years and here's what I've found. I have an Xyron 900 that works great. You can purchase rolls for it that will laminate one side of a printed out graphic and put adhesive on the other. However, this can be expensive. Another great way, and far more cheaper, is to buy the self-laminate sheets (usually between below $5) and use Mod-Podge for the adhesive...just brush it on the back. Hope this helps.
