Ideas for Refilling for Bean Bag ChairsFeedback About This Post:RE: Ideas for Refilling for Bean Bag ChairsWay, way, way back when, they used to stuff homemade mattresses with pine needles - free stuffing if you live around pine trees. I do a lot of quilting - I am stuffing and old air mattress with those bits and pieces of leftover batting that are too small for anything else - so free stuffing - look around and then think outside the box to see stuffing from things you would have never thought of before. Let's face it putting beans or rice in a bean bag makes it way to heavy. Buying refill beans is also expensive. I have put the packing peanuts in mine but they got flat really fast. So I started putting the missing or mismatched socks from the laundry in my sons bean bag. But I like the idea of the plastic bags, should go well with my socks.
