Fixing a Squeaky CouchLawleete Feedback About This Post:RE: Fixing a Squeaky CouchWhat Don said. We have had a lazy boy couch for over a year now and it started to squeak. I flipped it over spayed it with Silicon spray and now no squeaks! Post By Nate (Guest Post) RE: Fixing a Squeaky CouchWe had a new couch that squeaked badly too. Turned it over. Removed staples from front edge and corner of dust cover. There are several long S-shaped springs running front to rear. The squeaks were from the ends of those springs where they connected to the frame. Sprayed that joint with Silicon spray (WD40 is too greasy). So quiet now. Tapped in a couple small nails to put fabric back in. Post By Don (Guest Post) RE: Fixing a Squeaky CouchTurn it over and spray all metal hinges with WD40. Post By Enter your name. (Guest Post) RE: Fixing a Squeaky CouchTry contacting the store where you bought it. If this doesn't help, try to contact the manufacturer. Use Google to help with the search. Post by mkymlp |
