Keeping Pantyhose From RunningRead more ideas below... Feedback About This Post:RE: Run Stop"Run Stop" was the greatest product. Brushed on like nail polish, but not stiff and very washable. How can I find it? I've searched everywhere. Please help! Post By Barbara in Jersey (Guest Post) RE: Keeping Pantyhose From RunningMake sure your toe and finger nails are free of rough edges, apply a little lotion to your feet and hands before donning your pantyhose and don't put your jewelry on until after you've donned your pantyhose. Another trick I've discovered for making my pantyhose last longer is to hand wash them with hair shampoo and let them drip dry. My pantyhose are now lasting 2 to 3 times longer than prior to doing this. Post By Michael (Guest Post) RE: Keeping Pantyhose From RunningI'm responding to Mary about the product "Run Stop". I have been looking for about three years and still have the last tube. The company is Dexus that makes it, in Maryland, however their phone number posted is incorrect and I can't find the product any longer either! It was GREAT! Anyone else have any info? Post By Peggie (Guest Post) RE: Keeping Pantyhose From Runningjust dab with a little clear nail polish..works great Post By kelly (Guest Post) RE: Keeping Pantyhose From RunningHow do i keep pantyhose from running down? Post By Jamie (Guest Post) RE: Run stopWasn't there a product called run stop that they use to sell for nylon runs? What ever happened to that? Did it go off the market? Post By mary (Guest Post) RE: Keeping Pantyhose From RunningWhen storing your pantyhose, be careful of wooden drawers. Small grains of wood can catch and tear the pantyhose slightly when removing them from the drawer. You may not notice the rip until it turns to a run when you wear them. Post By Anon (Guest Post) RE: Keeping Pantyhose From RunningI bought a brand new pair of thigh highs earlier today and I put them on later to go out and just my luck! I already gotta run in them! Thankfully it was on the upper inside portion so I dabbed some clear nail polish on it and it worked! My night was good, and I did'nt have to worry about them running anymore than they had. Post By Annie (Guest Post) RE: Keeping Pantyhose From RunningDear MamawKC (hope I've got that right!) why would you be ashamed; my friends and I and our mothers! did the same when I was a teenager in the late 60's in SA. Nowadays I prefer pants to pantyhose but then it was a fine way of making do with what we had. It also kept us warm. Currently, we live an easy life of throwing away things we could have found new uses for. And, by the way, at one time we even found pantyhose with little buttons at the top keeping the left and right sides together, so that one could easily match the perfect half to a new half!
