"Impossible" Chocolate Pudding Pie

Would anyone have the old Bisquick recipe for "Impossibe" chocolate pudding pie. This was from the late 70's early 80's. It made a chocolate sauce on top, and was mixed all at once and put in a regular pie pan.

Homemade Bisquick Mix

8 cups Flour
1 1/4 cups Nonfat Dry Milk
1/4 cup Baking Powder
1 tablespoon Salt
2 cups Shortening

Combine flour, milk, baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening.
Store in tightly closed container in cool place.

Kings kid--I don't have my recipes in front of me, but do a search for copy-cat recipes. Bisquick is a baking mix made from flour, shortening, baking powder, some salt, and some sugar, I believe. It can be listed as a master mix sometimes. I'm sure you'll find it. We can't eat wheat, so I make mine from spelt flour. I keep it on hand for quick meals, as Bisquick has lots of recipes you can substitute the homemade version in.

Wow, this sounds really delicious and simple to make! As we don't have "Bisquick" in South Africa, is there anyone who can tell me what our equivalent would be. Would it be "Nesquick" drinking chocolate?

Impossible chocolate pie
Categories: Pie/tart
Yield: 8 servings
2 Eggs
1 cup Milk
&frac; cup Butter
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2 ounce Melted chocolate
1 cup Brown sugar
&frac; cup Bisquick

Preheat oven to 350. Put everything in blender for 1 min. pour into pie plate. Bake for 30 minutes until tests done with knife. Cool completly and top with whipped cream.
