I have been looking for Plastic Canvas Barbie Doll Furniture as well. I saw what I believe to be your response to having some patterns that you could copy and send to me. I would very much like if you would be so kind as to email me back with the information.

Thanking you in advance for your prompt attention. Terri

I was also interested in the plastic canvas Barbie furniture. Do you happen to have it? I have 1 pattern but it's way too small for Barbies. Thanks so much!

RE: Patterns for Barbie Furniture

This reply is not about the furniture but plants and accessories. Many years ago my husband made a
Barbie house for our niece. He made most of the furniture out of wood (with no pattern), and they turned out real good. But we felt like it needed "something". I cut out framed pictures from magazines and catalogs and placed them on the walls.

For the plants and planters I used bottle caps of different sizes for different plants. I spray painted them if they needed it, turned them upside down and put some green floral Styrofoam inside. Then I started "hunting" for the plants. I used leaves, stems and other parts of fake plants. I stuck them in the green Styrofoam and fluffed them out.

It took a little experimenting, but they looked great. Once you get started just let your imagination go and run with it. Good Luck! Margaret from Denton, Texas

RE: Patterns for Barbie Furniture

Years ago I found patterns for Barbie furniture in the sewing department, or fabric department, or wherever sewing patterns are found. I never did make them but I did make dollhouse furniture in 12/1 size (regular size dollhouse) from a sewing pattern (maybe Simplicity) and it was easy and fun and looked great. The base of the furniture is made from cardboard and then you sew what looks like upholstery, etc. The Barbie furniture would probably be similar. Or even better now (updated)
