Serving Ice Cream at Parties

If you are serving cake or pie with ice cream, save time by preparing the ice cream scoops before the party. Just scoop ice cream into large muffin tins with cupcake liners. Then cover them plastic wrap to prevent freezer burn and put them in the freezer until needed.

Yes, this is a great idea because it's usually one person who is stuck scooping ice cream for a crowd. So much nicer to have the work done and then everyone gets to sit down and enjoy!

Great idea using tins! When I made ice cream, I'd put it in styrofoam cups before the party, topped with plastic wrap. It was in the summer and when the time came for serving, I just loaded the cooler with the cups. I agree, save time when you can!

Hi, IF you add a ice cream cone to the top and a small amount of frosting, you will have a clown!
