My granddaughter is looking for something really different this year. Of course it would need to include the Jonas Brothers. Any thoughts? Here is her last years.

Has anyone ever made a hot air balloon Valentine basket for their child's Valentines? If so do you have any suggestions or pics or other ideas pertaining to the above?

I'm going to do a chocolate themed box, so it will look like a Hershey's bar and have chocolates glued on.

Last year my son and I made a snowman valentine's box. We got three different size boxes and covered them in white paper, put a scarf around the neck , a tall black hat made of foam, buttons for features, a carrot for a nose etc. The valentine's were put in the top of the hat. The kids all loved itl

My sister once made a cardboard box with like a beach theme. She used crushed grahm crackers for the sand. And you can have like a Ken and Barbie dolls running on the beach.

You can make a toilet also and have the seat be able to lift up and put the candy in there. Hope you like the idea and have fun don't get mad if it takes too much time take your time of course i would start mabey a day before Valentines day to get a general idea of what to do.

hey, i made a box one time that was a robot, and it had a body, head and legs and it stood up and the candy and cards went through the op of the head,
you could also make a big kiss, like a mouth, and have the hole in the middle of it and make it all glittery and red.
!!
thnx, Payton
(now im in 8th grade)

Thanks, the help was great. When my son was in second grade, we made a log cabin out of cardboard and peeled it off. We also painted it brown.

up to1 1/2 hours
use the box as a field of flowers. Cut up tissue paper into little squares. put glue all over top of box . take a pencils eraser and stick the tissue paper on it while you are squeezing the tissue paper. then one by one stick them on to make a design.

Use the box and make it look like a love bug by giving it heart shaped eyes and nose, heart shaped antennaes and feet. Or you could turn it into a dog using hearts for the ears, eyes, nose feet and tail.

Last year when my daughter was in 2nd grade we made a washing machine. We just made it out of a box and wrapped it in construction paper. We used candy hearts for the buttons. We even had one of her baby socks hanging out of the lid. She one for most creative.
