My email is amandatran89 AT yahoo.com. Thank you. Post by Cheng RE: Dandruff RemediesCan you apply coconut oil using fingers? Post By Enter your name. (Guest Post) RE: Dandruff Remedies

sir, Post By sanjeev (Guest Post) RE: Dandruff RemediesIn my exsperience true dandruff is a YEAST infection.....Vinegar is one treatment.....but probiotics.....acidopholus...(tea tree is pretty harsh) probiotics added to the rinse ought to kill it....other yeast infections are athletes foot and ring work.....so you see you are not going to be rid of it in one application.....Eating yogurt and acidopholus will help......also treating hair with coconut oil occasionally will help also....and it's very good for your hair....though you want to use it warmed it breaks to liquid at 75 degrees or so..Use sparingly or it will make your hair appear greasy...you can get it in cooking oil section of Walmart....and it is great for many moisture needs on your body....It will give you terrific nails if you rub it into them....also I use it with a few drops of tea tree oil to kill athletes foot...but tea tree is to harsh to use straight on your scalp..(it is more or less turpentine from the pau d' Arco tree)...You can even cook with coconut oil..and it is reputed to kill yeast in your body...cause if you have dandruff you probably have it in your whole system...bought this way....I believe the name is LUANNE...it is inexspensive and great for your needs....you might also use red tea...also found in Walmart to rinse dark hair in ......rouibous.....pronounced ray boos...is great for dark colored hair..... Post by acesnanna RE: Dandruff Remediesabout the apple cider vinegar, can we use all the brand of apple cider vinegar? how about brand like "Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar"? is it ok? Post By Lina (Guest Post) RE: Dandruff Remedies
Pls make sure that u first have dandruff and not eczema or any other skin problem. Dandruff must be treated from within first. Stress increases oil on the scalp and thus more dandruff, secondly try taking multivitamins, like omega3/6, vit b 6, magnesium/calcium. Post By michelle (Guest Post) RE: Dandruff Remedies
I HAVE A QUESTION FOR ARYA. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF AN AYURYEDIC DOCTOR. WOULD THIS BE A DOCTOR OF NATURAL MEDICINE ? ALSO, WHERE WOULD ONE FIND THE THINGS THAT YOU USED TO GET RID OF YOUR DANDRUFF. I FOUND YOUR INPUT VERY INTERESTING. Post by tuey RE: Dandruff RemediesIf you have a sharp bristle hair brush or comb it is best to use it by scraping all the dandruff off your hair. Scrap throughly, you might feel some pain though but it'll go away... then you bow your head outside in your backyard or your tub and shake all the dandruff off your hairr then if there is still dandruff use any of the remedies with vinegar or apple cider or shampoo. Post By Serina (Guest Post) Lemon Juice
Apply one tablespoon of Lemon Juice to your hair. Shampoo, then rinse with water. Rinse again with a mixture of two tablespoons Lemon Juice and two cups water. Repeat every other day until dandruff disappears. Post by ThriftyFun Archived Request: Natural Cure for DandruffI am looking for a natural or inexpensive way to treat dandruff. I have been buying expensive shampoo that helps but doesn't really eliminate the problem and it's pricey (That T-Gel stuff). Love the site, DB in Min. Post by ThriftyFun RE: Natural Cure for DandruffGather a handful of lemon leaves and cut them up - put into 1 1/2 litres of hot water (distilled is best). when cool strain & bottle. use weekly til dandruff disappears & then once a month for control. shampoo hair and then rinse in this solution Post By joyz guest (Guest Post) RE: Natural Cure for DandruffI think it's better to get some good cream or treatment from a pharmacy or doctor. But the other ideas here are really good too. If anyone has some really good ideas for getting rid of dandruff do e-mail me. sheenachandra@yahoo.com or sweetangel_cinderella@hotmail.com or sheenayellow@hotmail.com. I have had dandruff for four years so far. I have not found a good cure. Post By SheenaC (Guest Post) RE: Natural Cure for Dandruff
I had been suffering from Dandruff for ages. Probably for more than 10 yrs and my hair has been reduced to half its volume because of the problem. I have tried several remedies but none of them kept the dandruff away it always returned sometimes after week. Have tried nizarol, head and shoulders, almost all anti dandruff shampoos in the market, home remedies, apple cider, vinegar, lemon, youghurt...What not? Honest. Post By Arya (Guest Post) RE: Natural Cure for DandruffI saw a tip for dandruff on another site that said put 10 aspirin in a bottle of any kind of shampoo let them dissolve over night, shake well before using. I haven't tried it, but the person who posted the tip swears it works. Post By CarolynJ (Guest Post) RE: Natural Cure for DandruffIs there a difference between flaky scalp and dandruff? i heard it was different. e-mail me at FatimaPervaiz28@hotmail.com with ur answer....and apple cider vinegar works on hair. Post By Enter your name. (Guest Post) RE: Natural Cure for DandruffI agree with using the vinegar. Put some in a spray bottle and spray your scalp a few minutes before your shower. Just keep using it on a daily basis and the dandruff shouldn't reappear. Post By Ann (Guest Post) RE: Natural Cure for Dandruff
AS A HAIRDRESSER, MY ADVISE IS TO GO TO A DERMATOLIGIST AND MAKE SURE ITS PLAIN OLD DANDRUFF, ALOT OF DISEASES OF THE SCALP CAN MIMIC DANDRUFF. IF IT IS PLAIN OLD DANDRUFF , YOU NEED TO STIMULATE THE SCALP, WITH THE PADS OF YOUR FINGERS , THIS ALLOWS EVEN BLOOD FLOW TO THE SCALP , THERE FORE SHEDDING THE UNWANTED SKIN. A HOME REMEDY IS SEA BREEZE APPLIED TO THE SCALP WITH A COTTEN BALL AND MASSAGED IN WITH THE PADS OF FINGERS FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES AND THEN USE A FINE TOOTHED COMB TO GENTLY SCRAP BACK AND FORTH WITH THE TEETH ALL OVER THE SCALP, THEN PUT SARRAN WRAP OVER YOUR HEAD AND WAIT FOR 15 MIN, YOU MAY ALSO ADD SOME HEAT WITH HAND HELD DRYER, THIS WILL INCREASE BLOOD FLOW EVEN MORE. DO THIS ROUTINE ON A WEEKLY BASIS, YOUR SCALP WILL FEEL TINGLY, THIS IS NORMAL. YOU MIGHT ALSO WANT TO ADD TEATREE OIL TO YOUR SHAMPOO, ABOUT 2 DROPPER FULLS. THIS IS AGREAT ANTISEPTIC AND LICE PREVENTION TECHNIQUE. Post By TRISH. (Guest Post) RE: Natural Cure for DandruffMy husband also uses TGel and got tired of it. He now uses a shampoo called Chinese Herb Stimulating Shampoo by Lamas Botanicals. We got ours at a local natural health food store. It works great on his hair. Post By Joan (Guest Post) RE: Natural Cure for DandruffI see that someone else also said use vinegar which is what I was going to suggest, but you should also start taking selenium this will help also. Post By Enter your name. (Guest Post) RE: Natural Cure for DandruffWe have had good luck with using Apple Cider Vinegar. Just pour some on your head about 5-10 min before showering. My son only needed a couple of applications and dandruff is very minimal now. Hope it helps. Post By Tracey (Guest Post) |
