How do I get rid of blackbirds from the backyard?

I like my blackbirds coming to the garden. They used to follow me around when I was weeding or digging. They tend to feed off the ground or the birdtable but not from the hanging seed feeders. Crows and jackdaws are the ones scaring off my small birds and they eats so much:-((

Would you please let us know which advice you followed and whether or not it worked for you? My sister feeds birds and has been having the same problem with blackbirds.
