Thanks to ask.com for finding thrifty fun and you all! Thanks so much! Post by Ilovemali RE: Clean Scuff Marks on ShoesI spent 200 bucks on a pair of shoes and they had scuffs. The nail polish remover worked instantly! I'm so happy! Thank you so much. Post By Munchkin (Guest Post) RE: Clean Scuff Marks on ShoesYay! It worked great. Use very little nail polish remover though. Don't use too much. Post By Kim (Guest Post) RE: Clean Scuff Marks on ShoesThe Mr clean eraser WORKED! Thank you Post By sasha (Guest Post) RE: Clean Scuff Marks on ShoesI bought an adorable pair of any black and white pumps and before I even got a chance to wear them out I got an ugly black scuff mark on the white part. I didn't have any nail polish remover but I tried a Mr. Clean magic eraser and it got it out. You have to scrub for about five minutes and clean it off with a little water and dry it afterwards but it got the scuff right out! Thanks for the tip! But be sure to use a small amount in a circular motion with a q-tip. If the area becomes dull, retouch that area with a very small amount of WD-40. Works like magic! Post By Chica1979 (Guest Post) RE: Clean Scuff Marks on ShoesTHANK YOU ALL, nail polish remover works perfectly! Post By IVC (Guest Post) RE: Clean Scuff Marks on ShoesOMG! It worked like magic. I am definitely going to try this on my white shoes. Thanks. Post By Carlos (Guest Post) RE: Clean Scuff Marks on Shoes
Don't use nail polish remover on serious scuffs! The continuous rubbing will rub off the shine and leave a huge dull spot. I ruined some very pricey shoes this way. Also most shoe repair shops can get the scuffs off for about $5 and your shoes stay shiny! Post By jennifer (Guest Post) RE: Clean Scuff Marks on ShoesIt really worked on my white patent shoes. Thanks Post By guest2 (Guest Post) RE: Clean Scuff Marks on ShoesNail polish definitely works! I just got both white & black scuff marks off my purple patent leather shoes! Thanks a bunch guys! Post By Enter your name. (Guest Post) RE: Clean Scuff Marks on ShoesNail polish remover! Let it sit for a second and scrub with a Q-tip. It removes scuffs hands down better than any other method. Post By mena (Guest Post) RE: Clean Scuff Marks on Shoes

scuff marks on red patent leather shoes: Post By maybe i can help (Guest Post) RE: Clean Scuff Marks on ShoesWhat about white patent leather HELP? Post By Kate (Guest Post) RE: Clean Scuff Marks on ShoesI tried the nail polish on some lime green man made leather boots. You have to use it lightly and it works like a charm. Be blessed! Post By Albsmilin (Guest Post) RE: Clean Scuff Marks on ShoesIf you're trying to clean scuff marks off those cute new candy apple red shoes (those ones that are shiny and made of plaistic) don't use the nail polish remover, I tried it and it took off the finish in the area where the nail polish remover touched i Post By Mwoah (Guest Post) RE: Clean Scuff Marks on ShoesAfter trying everything I could think of, I went on line to see if possibly someone could help. At first I tried the "hairspray" but it did not work for me. Then I tried the "nail polish remover"...worked like a charm!! In five seconds all scuff marks were off of the aqua shoes and they looked like new. Thanks, gcowart Post By Geneva (Guest Post) RE: Clean Scuff Marks on ShoesAcetone (a large component in most nail polish removers) is pretty much a household miracle solvent, and, among many other uses, works great on scuff marks on shoes. Post By Angela (Guest Post) RE: Clean Scuff Marks on ShoesMr. Clean erasers available at Target and Dollar store for a lot less$. Post by cookwie RE: Clean Scuff Marks on Shoesit cost about 5.oo but the new mister clean type cleaning erasers work on scuff marks. hope it works Post By Enter your name. (Guest Post) RE: Clean Scuff Marks on ShoesYou can erase black scuff marks off linoleum by rubbing the spot with the heel of the same shoe, so maybe it will work on your red shoe also! Post By suzi_homemaker01 (Guest Post) RE: Clean Scuff Marks on Shoes
Remove scuff marks from back of heels with hair spray; wipe with soft rag while still damp/wet. Post by ThriftyFun |
