Sagging Curtain Rod

Does anyone know how to keep a curved (crescent shaped) shower curtain rod from sagging in the middle. This rod doesn't have a enclosures at the top and bottom where it attaches to the wall and that causes it to sag in the middle.

RE: Sagging Curtain Rod

In the curtan hardware section of Menards, Home Depot, Lowes, etc there are fictures for suspending curtain rods from the ceiling you could use, or, you could simply get a length of chain, loop it around the rod and attatch the ends of the chain to a cup or eye hook in the ceiling. Either way, you will need to make a small slit in your shower curtain to accomodate th hardware or chain. You will no longer be able to pull the curtain back all the way to one side, but this is just as well because you will be less likely to forget to stretch out your shower curtain after showering -- which means less chance for mold growth. good luck
