Fixing Flaws in Garments

As my mother used to tell me, sometimes you can get away with things (repairs, flaws) if "they don't show." When my favorite black sweatshirt got white blotches on the sleeves, I colored them in with a black permanent marker. The match isn't perfect, but I always scrunch up the sleeves, anyway, so it doesn't show. And I have just added lots of more life to an old favorite.

I have used black perm markers to repair scuff marks on my children's shoes! Works like a charm!!

One other one I might mention to you that if you are wearing white shoes and they become scuffed, get some White-out that is used for typing errors and put it on the scuff marks. Should cover them nicely.
