Preventing Suede Shoes from Getting ShinyI have only had these boots about a month and only wore them a few times but I noticed just a couple of days ago the right one is getting shiny, or dull however you want to describe it. It isn't like the rest of the boot. Does anyone have any ideas on ways to prevent this? I would appreciate your help. Thanks. Thanks for the hints. I will try each of them to see which works better for me. Your input is greatly appreciated. Happy New Year! Post By Connie H. (Guest Post) RE: Preventing Suede Shoes from Getting ShinyHi, Connie - Try rubbing the areas with dry corn meal or baking soda to lift the suade, then brush out gently with a soft toothbrush or dish towel. Good luck! Melinda Post by melelm RE: Preventing Suede Shoes from Getting ShinyI've use a small nail file, very carefully just file it a bit. Post By Linda (Guest Post) RE: Preventing Suede Shoes from Getting ShinyI use a small wire brush that I got with my suede Bierkenstock's but you could use any small wire brush. Just don't brush too hard in any one area. Post By Beth (Guest Post) |
