Boo (Cat) and Buddie (Dutch Rabbit)
Boo is a black cat about 3 years old and Buddie is a year old Dutch Rabbit. Boo we got from a friend and Buddie from a pet store.
Boo likes to chase string and our other cat. Buddie likes to chase boo! Boo is hilarious, I swear he thinks he is a human. Buddie well he acts like one of the cats!

Oh, my goodness! Your bunnie is so t i n y compared to our Dutch, "Vandy" for (Van Dyke), who is about 4-5 yr., was given to us, cage and all, and is as tall as your CAT! Vandy's ears are longer and his tail is NOT bushy, but was perhaps at birth? Our
bunnie LOVES our house cat, Casey, and vice-versa.
Vandy loves to hide behind the piano and Casey
lives in a walkin closet when not playing.
I guess you know that a Dutch is a show bunnie if the line of their dark fur is perfectly straight and not
at all "into" the white fur? Vandy missed this perfection by a one inch deviation of the line of fur.
Also, I have had this bunnie long enough now to know that Alfalfa straw is really BAD for them. It contains recluse spiders and can kill even humans.
We almost lost Vandy to a horrible bite near the deepest part of the inside of the ear, making the ear swell twice in size. Could NOT afford a vet so I did what I know how to do and nursed it back to health but there is a lot of HARDNESS along the edge and area of that bitten site. I used DrawOUT
salve from WalMart, and dressed it twice a day until
well, keeping a clean baby sock on the ear taped
to itself and slightly snug at the base to prevent it from falling out. Hope this never happens to yours.
Also, hope you know NOT to allow your bunnie outside for ANY reason. Dutch bunnies are strictly
bred for the INDOORS, and are NOT able to defeat
the bacteria, pesticides/fertilizers, pests, and poison plants of the outdoors, much less general pollutants. They are to be exercised in the house, NEVER outside or on a leash. We take Vandy outside
in our arms for a nice sit in the shade (NEVER sun),
for about 15 min. when weather is permitting and not hot. They can die QUICKLY if overheated. I lost another bunnie years ago out of ignorance that way,
placing it in the shade, forgetting the shade often
turns to full sun with time.
They may live to be as old as 12 years, I read. I
give mine all ORGANIC: Parsley, Cilantro, Celery, Romaine, Cabbage, Green Pepper, Carrots, plain
cracker, Promise shredded wheat biscuits, Timothy
Hay, Willow tree leaves/stems, Apple tree leaves/
stems, Dandelion, Bermuda grass, and OCCASIONALLY, 3-4 Dry Chinese noodles, dried Papaya, flake or two of Raisen Bran cereal, and LOTS of water, NO SALT OR MINERAL WHEELS, all as I can afford it. This is about his complete diet and is as healthy as a HORSE! lol...
Your two pets are adorable. Boo seems to be a black Siamese. I had one that lived 21 years and had the best disposition of any of 32 cats I have had over my life, finally dying of bad teeth and old age, disappearing into the neighborhood, never to be seen again. We miss her so dearly. Her name was Noir, pronounced No-wah, which is French for "black". God bless you in your care.

The rabbit chasing the cat - how funny! Boo looks just like my Miss Kitty, even the yellow eyes. I was told she is a Bombay, so I guess Boo is, also. Give them both a big hug and kiss for me.
