Silk Flowers for SpringBy Vickie from Canton, MI Feedback About This Post:RE: Silk Flowers for SpringI used silk flowers outside and they lasted quite a while. I went to garage sales or yard sales and bought them. It was amazing how fast my flowers bloomed overnight. LOL Post By jan (Guest Post) RE: Silk Flowers for SpringThis certainly works well. A couple of years ago, I bought gerber daisies for $8 each (needed 3 for each of 2 pots = $48-Ouch, but they were very pretty). After the original blooms died, they would not bloom again but the green foliage was very pretty. So I bought silk gerber stems and put them in the pots with the lush foliage and had great flowers all season. I saw a repairman taking a close look at the flowers.
