Craft: Drapery Rod for a Changeable Headboard
I used a wooden drapery rod to make a holder for fabric or a quilt or bedspread to use as a headboard. It is cheap, fast, and can be changed quickly. Just be sure to use lightweight fabrics, or put a support in the center of the pole for heavy items. You can make it as high or as low as you like. This is now my favorite headboard.

Use some drapery pole supports to support the PVC. Post by Lorena1210 RE: Craft: Drapery Rod for a Changeable HeadboardI did this years ago but I used a dowel and put curtain rod holders on thr ends. Thank you very much. Post by lavonneann RE: Craft: Drapery Rod for a Changable HeadboardI LOVE it! Post By Nancycorinne (Guest Post) RE: Craft: Drapery Rod For A Changable HeadboardThis is a cute idea. On many of the do it yourself shows I have seen a lot of ideas for headboards but never this one. What a great idea for using those beautiful blankets, spreads, or pretty material instead of sticking them in a closet somewhere. You can even use different ones for different seasons.
