Planting Trees In Clay SoilPam Feedback About This Post:RE: Planting Trees In Clay Soil
Hi, Post By Little Elf (Guest Post) RE: Planting Trees In Clay SoilYou did not mention the tree(s) location, sun, shade, etc, so here are a few ideas based on your Zone 6, and clay soil...near a street or heavily traveled zone with cars: Trident Maple, Dawn Redwood, Nootka Cypress; in the shade: White Oak, Red Oak, Sargent Cherry; Evergreens: Spruce, Sweet Bay Magnolia, White Pine; Flowering Tres: Bradford Pear, Flowering Cherry. For the clay soil, make sure you are raising the bed on which the tree lies for good drainage. Post by sabrina_ca |
