Use Bags From Cereal For Camping

I save the bags from empty cereal, they are super to use to take camping to use as bowls, or cereal. When used, fold up to carry home to discard. They are also handy when small children come to visit to use for snacks. Fold over the top and cut a small circle. When the top is lifted, you have a small handle for the little ones to carry.

Helen,
They're talking about the bags that come in boxes of cereal, or the cheap brand that only comes in a bag at the grocery store. If you think, when you open a bag like that, all you have to do is snip a couple holes on each side, and like she said, you have a handle. Very easy to visualize

My mother-in-law saves the cereal bags and uses the plastic ones to shake meat or vegetables when coating them with cornmeal or flour.
Also, I save the crumbs in the bottom of the bags. They can be combined and used to enhance cookie recipes.
Another use for the bags is to fill them with discarded peelings of fruits or vegetables, then just throw them away.
