Rotten Meat Smell in a RoomMiranda from Arkansas Feedback About This Post:RE: Rotten Meat Smell in a RoomThe refrigerator went off and all the food in the freezer meat and chicken was very bad and the refrigerator smells as well. I have put paper in it and still trying to get the awful smell out of freezer and frig as it still gags me. What do I do? Post By Judy R (Guest Post) RE: Rotten Meat Smell in a RoomStinks in here! Smells like meat! Rotten meat! Kids why would you bring that rotten meat in here of all places? Post By Pierre (Guest Post) RE: Rotten Meat Smell in a RoomI am renting a house. The previous renters left rotten food and meat on the garage floor, dumped the fridge on the floor. The smell is horrid. I have tried vinegar, 2 gallons, and all kinds of ordor removers. It seems to smell the worst in the drain and under the wooden slats in the driveway. help!!! Post By Juliawings@yahoo.com (Guest Post) RE: Rotten Meat Smell in a Room
Try throwing some fresh coffee grounds all around the room. For some reason, the coffee grounds eliminate the most potent odors. One time, a mouse died behind one of our walls near a vent. We could not get to the mouse but we did read once that throwing coffee grounds would take the terrible odor away. I'm happy to say that it worked very well! Post By Day (Guest Post) RE: Rotten Meat Smell in a RoomWhat about painting the cinderblock (and even the floor if it is cement) with Kilz? It's supposed to take care of everything! Good luck! Keeping open vinegar containers seems like a good idea too. Post By Kathy (Guest Post) RE: Rotten Meat Smell in a Room
