I used a seed packet for my favor; you can get so many differant kinds or just pick up some at Walmart and glue a stick to it and stick them in a potted plant holder like a flower arrangement.

How about a small basket for each table centerpiece with an apple, a ruler, a few pencils,pens,sharpie markers and a small pack of colored pencils? You could also insert one of those giant paper clips which are made of plastic and great for use in a lesson plan book. This would make a nice "take home" gift for each teacher. Movie rental cards would be nice too.

i went to a bridal luncheon once with that theme and they had tiny claypots for each persons table setting with a little plant in it and a tooth pick that she had glued a hard stock paper too in the shape of a flower petal and wrote the persons name on it, really cute.
