Fixing Washing Machine LeaksAnother thought is the center post seals, but we want to eliminate the first possibility so that's why we're asking. We also noticed the spanner nut is corroded along the bottom and has lost about 1/4 inch in some places, so we are replacing it. Would that have caused a leak too? We don't know if going after the center post seals would be a hard job or not, but we have the machine torn apart anyway. Karen |
