Borax and Pets

Borax has a skull and crossbones on it for a reason. It is very dangerous to animals. Please remember that our pets are so much closer to the ground than we are and that they have to lick themselves to get clean.

Please do not use this product for your pets. Find and use natural remedies like the orange peel and/or vinegar. Flea combs work great too!

RE: Borax and Pets

Ok, Borax does NOT have a skull and crossbones on it. BORIC ACID does and IS harmful to animals. Borax ( 20 Mule Team) is completely natural, and can be used to treat fleas roaches etc. effectivley. Borax is sodium tetraborate. While it can be irritating to pets skin when applied directly it can be used diluted to treat some skin problems as well as fleas. It can appllied full strength around the house to treat fleas in carpet and bedding. It's also a great laundry additive and its cheap...er, thrifty!
