Removing Adhesive From a Car

How do I get dried adhesive from a Christian fish off my car?

I vote for Marge's idea of a Support our troops magnet, but if you need to take off the glue to get the magnet to stay on, try penut butter. The smooth variety, not the crunchy. Just smoothe it on with your fingers and wipe it off with a soft cloth.

Put a magnet "SUPPORT OUR TROOPS" over the dried glue spot.

WD-40 will remove that gummy residue. Will not harm paint. Just spray on, let soak and rub off with soft cloth.

Yeah, tried Goo Gone and heating veg. oil with a hair dryer, with no effect. Goof Off takes off the paint. Any other thoughts? Am I not heating the veg. oil enough?

Do you think that Goo Be Gone might work on removing it?

Or try rubbing some cooking/vegetable oil on the spot with a rag, that should take care of the problem and it won't damage your finish.
