Here's how to make and use your own God box.
Use an appropriate container. This should be something that's easy to use and readily available. An empty tissue box or cookie tin works just fine.
Write down your problem or situation on a slip of paper and place it in the God box. As you do so, silently or audibly ask to be shown when and how to deal with each request.
Choose a certain time of day (first thing in the morning or at bedtime) to review for items you would like to add to the box. Creating a ritual around the God box will increase its effectiveness, because you'll be in the habit of using it.
Keep your God box in a private place, just as you would a diary or journal.
Once your problem is in the box, be on the alert to intuitive thoughts or hunches you receive, conversations you have (or overhear), or items of interest in a book, magazine or newspaper. Pay particular attention to anything that is repeated, as frequently answers come in this way.
When tempted to rehash a dilemma that's in the God box, ask yourself if there is any constructive and helpful action step you can take. If there isn't, release the problem back to the box.
Review your God box items once a month, and discard those that have been answered or are no longer of interest to you. Sometimes issues that seemed overwhelming a few weeks ago just fade away.

I've been painting and selling God Boxes for several years. They are amazing spiritual tools. Your description of how to use the boxes is wonderful. I have directions with my boxes but they aren't nearly as detailed as yours. After having read yours, I'm going to revise mine to include some of your ideas. I hope you don't mind.
