Making Decorative MagnetsFind pretty little pictures, plaques, sayings, etc. in magazines and catalogs, carefully cut them out, cut the magnet to size, and stick your picture onto the magnet. Very simple! I recently found a set of 6 plaques in a catalog, made a little set of magnets from them, and used them to decorate the front of a cabinet. It looks like they are painted on, very chic. Also these make nice little gifts to tuck into a letter to a friend, to cheer someone up or make them laugh. By Jayne Feedback About This Post:RE: Making Decorative MagnetsI love magnets and this is a good idea! Thanks! Post by wdyjsu RE: Making Decorative Magnets
I HAVE MAGNETIC PAPER AND NEED MORE IDEAS FOR GIFTS TO MAKE. Post By JOY (Guest Post) RE: Making Decorative MagnetsYou can also use old give-away magnets (like outdated calendar magnets) and double-sided tape. Post by calnorth RE: Making Decorative MagnetsA useful tip when attaching photos and the like is to cover them with the clear stickyback plastic you use to cover books. Makes the pictures last much longer without damage. Post by quiltingmum |
