When frying bacon, to keep the grease from spattering add some celery leaves. No more grease mess to clean up ... or burns! Post by ThriftyFun RE: Preventing Bacon Grease SplattersTo prevent bacon grease from spattering - use your oven. Simply lay bacon slices in a jellyroll type pan or cookie sheet (you needs sides to collect the grease) and bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. You can turn it over halfway through, but I have found it not really necessary. Crispy bacon, no mess. Post by mrsmutt Keep Bacon from Spattering
When frying bacon, add some celery leaves to the pan. The bacon won't spatter! Post by ThriftyFun RE: Preventing Bacon Grease SplattersRobin is absolutely right.
