Post By emmy. (Guest Post) RE: Grape Juice Stains on Clothing
I am doing a Science Fair Project and I need information on the stain grape juice. I was wondering if you know which of these laundry detergents would work best on a white cotton shirt. Post By LMakay (Guest Post) Grape Juice Stains on ClothingYES! Thanks for the input. Tried the boiling water on a bright pink top with red wine *droppings*. Worked great! You all are amazing! Thanks! Post By Gloria (Guest Post) RE: Grape Juice Stains on ClothingWOW! I'm absolutely amazed. I spilled grape juice on my light pink shirt and I read this site and it said to try peroxide. And it worked. I just poured it on and its like new. Thanks guys! Post By Lisa (Guest Post) RE: Grape Juice Stains on ClothingI'm doin a science fair project and I was wondering, did it leave a stain? Post By Enter your name. (Guest Post) RE: Grape Juice Stains on ClothingMy daughter came home from pre-school with dried-on grape juice stains all over her expensive boutique embroidered courderoy outfit. Talk about something hard to A-scrub and B-scrub without damaging the delicate embroidery. So I read about the boiled water method. Tried it. WORKS LIKE MAGIC! Thanks so much! Post by mjblanton RE: Grape Juice Stains on ClothingThank you to all the people who wrote about the hydrogen peroxide. My 11 year old daughter got some small grape juice spots on her good khaki pants and the hydrogen peroxide did the trick. We were out when it happened, so it was several hours later that the pants were treated...it worked! Just a note...I didn't try getting the stain out while we were out since it would have just made a big wet spot and would have embarressed her. It worked anyways and saved me $. Thanks again! Post by D. in Great Lakes area RE: Grape Juice Stains on ClothingI just tried boiling water on my sweater and my daughters shirt and it came out great! I am so excited! Thanks Post By Enter your name. (Guest Post) Science fair projectI need to find out what takes grape juice stains out of a white cotton shirt. I know the boiling water and Hydrogen Peroxide is there anything else? I need two other things to test. Post By Robyn (Guest Post) RE: Grape Juice Stains on Clothing
Hydrogen Peroxide will remove any ORGANIC stain, including grape juice & red wine. Buy Peroxide when it's on sale 2 for $1. Put one bottle in the medicine cabinet & one bottle in the laundry area. Pour it on wet or dry fabric, let sit for 15 min, then if needed you can do it again. Then launder as usual, but if you're cleaning spots from carpeting or upholstery, no rinsing is needed as it leaves no residue (it works with oxygen "fizzing" out the stain). Sometimes it's best to put the peroxide in a well marked spray bottle & spray it on the carpet. Always "spot test" a small area first! Post by Cyinda RE: Grape Juice Stains on ClothingI tried this on my jeans after i panicked and it actually worked! I was really amazed but this is the best! Post By Courtney (Guest Post) RE: Grape Juice Stains on ClothingI am amazed. Something so simple as boiling water can take out grape juice. It worked just now and I'm so appreciative! I'm sticking to white grape juice from now on! Post By jessica (Guest Post) RE: Grape Juice Stains on ClothingI would not have believed it if I had not tried it. I tried everything from vinegar to club soda all to no avail. It was a fresh stain of purple sparkling grape juice and it was huge. I finally found this page and tried pouring boiling water on my table cloth. The stain is completely gone. Thank you! Post By Rebecca (Guest Post) RE: Grape Juice Stains on Clothing
THANK YOU for the boiling water suggestion. It worked beautifully before I had a chance to panic! Post By Girlbert (Guest Post) RE: Grape Juice Stains on ClothingI found a week old grape juice stain on my 3 yr old daughters white comforter last night and used the boiling method and it came out, I did use a little bleach too and some shout but i think the boiling water helped a lot. Thanks all! Post By Chanell (Guest Post) RE: Grape Juice Stains on ClothingThe boiling water method does wonders. I just got a grape juice stain on my off-white shirt and I used the boiling water method. I was skeptical but it really does work! Thanks for the great tip! Post By Enter your name. I'm doing a project for science fair and I was wondering if non-chlorine bleach works good. Hope I get some feedback sorry I don't have any answers. Post By Allie (Guest Post) RE: Grape Juice Stains on Clothingthe boiling water worked great!! Thanks Vickie Post by caddyzigs1 RE: Grape Juice Stains on Clothing
boiling water ppoured through the garment at the stain. Instantly removes before your eyes. I was sceptical the first time I tried it but I was losing the white blouse any way if I could not get it out. Post By Vickie (Guest Post) RE: Grape Juice Stains on Clothingi got a grape juice stain on a white blouse. the soonest i could get to cleaning it was about two hours later. i tried washing it by hand with laundry soup, but the stain only changed in color from purple to blue. i than soaked it in some warm water with oxiclean and shortly afterwards the stain started to lift. after swishing and rubbing it around a little, the stain came out completely. good luck! Post By Alison (Guest Post) RE: Grape Juice Stains on Clothingwhat about on a gray shirt... cotton? Post By Hope (Guest Post) RE: Grape Juice Stains on ClothingI used hydrogen peroxide and it is working as I write. It doesn't come out instantly, but it is almost gone and it has been soaking for 15 minutes. Post By Janna (Guest Post) RE: Grape Juice Stains on Clothing
IM doing a project im trying to find info. I can't find any. Just people asking questions! Post By Enter your name. (Guest Post) RE: Grape Juice Stains on Clothing
When you say peroxide, do you mean hydrogen peroxide? My son got a grape juice stain on his tan pants and I tried vinegar (because it's supposed to work on colored carpet stains); all it did was turn the dark blue stain to purple. Post By Missy (Guest Post) RE: Grape Juice StainsUsing peroxide on a grape juice spill on my favorite tablecloth (pale green in color) worked wonderfully! I threw it in a tub of cold water right after the spill happened, then I soaked the stained area in a bowl with peroxide in it overnight. There was absolutely no grape juice to be seen in the morning! Thanks to this site for giving me the tip! Post By Monique (Guest Post) RE: Grape Juice Stains on Clothingtry a little white wine. Just pour it on the grape juice stain I know for sure white wine take out red wine so grape juice is just younger wine Post By Enter your name. (Guest Post) Grape Juice stains Off Of Baby Clothes?
