Planning a TripThanks, Jessica Feedback About This Post:RE: Planning a Trip
Are you planning to go to the Hall of Fame inductions in Cooperstown? Are you a Cal Ripken fan? If you are, you need to visit Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, MD. I live in Harford County, if you want more info, please email me at kimbers867 @ comcast.com (no spaces). Our summers can get pretty sticky. Post by kimbers867 RE: Planning a Trip
well i live in baltimore, md. it usually is pretty hot by july and august. humidity is terriable. i would suggest you go to the inner harbor and just walking around is great. they of course also have stores and food. Post by sandy63 RE: Planning a TripWe moved from Minnesota to Mississippi when my youngest was just a year old, we drove it . It was difficult, but we made it thru. very important, you need to take a break at least every hour, every 2 if you can't each hour. even if it's only for 5 mins or so. bring lots of toys, you can use the linky rings to keep them off the floor. To save money we always pack a cooler with food, so we can picnic, instead of stopping a fast food places. sandwiches, fruit, trail mix, snacks, etc. great money saver. you may want to consider getting an entertainment book, it's a coupon book for areas and lots of time they have 2 for 1 and half off stuff. if you go to their website you can order them for your destination, for about 20 or 25 dollars. their great if you want to hit popular places. or stay in hotels. right now Gerber has some dissolving cereal and other snacks that would be perfect for baby. they list the ages on the containers. check walmart or target baby area for them. We used cheap duffel bags for packing to help save space. A lot of mix and match clothing. and for baby, guesstamate how many diapers and set of clothing etc. You will need and then double that number, if your cramped for space, then just bring the things you don't want to buy again. like diapers, they sell them everywhere. Make sure to take a playpen for your daughter to sleep in, not all hotels have cribs. some may, but you don't want to be caught off guard. and most important really. If your insurance doesn't cover break down expenses, just in case, get a trial period with AAA because they will pay for hotels and stuff if you break down. Because you don't want to get stuck somewhere. well that's all i can think of right now, Hope some of this helps. Post by Designersheets |
