Wine Stain on Microfiber

My boyfriend spilled red wine all over a cushion on our brand new microfiber sofa. I immediately took the cushion out of the sleeve and soaked it in cold water... Any advice on how to prevent it from staining?

There is a product called Lloydscleaner available mail order from a guy in MN. His web site is Lloydscleaner.com and the stuff really works and will not harm your microfiber.
