Spray Wrinkle Releaser Recipe
*I buy the cheapest and someone has posted a recipe for making your own softener. Mix well and pour into a spray bottle and when removing the wrinkled clothing from your dryer, hang the item and spray generously on all sides; not necessary to soak 'em though. Shake the item well and in a few seconds the wrinkles disappear! Much better than the name brand stuff and LOTS cheaper. (I even use it when traveling as I take my wrinkled clothing out of my suitcase.) I have used it on every type of material -- denim, cotton (even silk -- but test before using on something precious)! Source: Me, myself, and I. By Linda from Saratoga, AR Feedback About This Post:RE: Spray Wrinkle Releaser RecipeI use wrinkle releaser very often~everyday as a matter of fact. I purchased a spray bottle, about 12 oz. and put 1 tablespoon of inexpensive hair conditioner and shake it up well. Works very well. Post by asewell RE: Spray Wrinkle Releaser RecipeI have seen other recipes that just use water and fabric softener. Why the vinegar and does the fabric softener scent cover the vinegar smell? Post by ohotto RE: Spray Wrinkle Releaser RecipeI love this idea, having said that...there are some liquid fabric softeners that have stained clothes going through the softening rinse, and one I will not use again. This lady's formula may have changed that with the vinegar and water, but I would caution, try it on something you don't care about first. Post by Anne Winston RE: Spray Wrinkle Releaser RecipeI've been using the same 'Downy' spray bottle for awhile, just add a capful of liquid softener to the empty bottle, add warm water to the top, shake lightly to mix. Works well! Post by KLJohn RE: Spray Wrinkle Releaser RecipeThis is an excellent suggestion - one I intend to try. Wrinkled clothing is the bane of my life! Ha! Thanks for sharing and God bless you.
