Craft Project: Puppy Love Tag

Puppy Love Tag

Don't forget Fido on Valentine's Day. Create this customized valentine tag.

Approximate Time: Under 1 hour

Supplies:

card stock or poster board
scissors
hole punch
markers
clear contact paper
metal ring or old key ring

Instructions:

Cut a heart shape out of red or pink stiff paper or poster board, then punch a hole in the top. Decorate the heart with a Valentine's Day message, like "My Hero" or "Poodle Power." Seal the shape on both sides with clear contact paper. Clip the heart onto your dog's collar with a small metal ring or old key ring.

I just saw this tag idea and thought perhaps that if you print or draw names, designs etc on card or thick paper, you could laminate the pieces together and cut out the shapes, then use hole punch and key ring tags to make loads of key tags very cheaply. To buy a dog tag for our dog was nearly five pounds sterling so I am going to have a go at this method.
