Cigarette Smoke Smell on Fleece FabricThanks so much in advance for any help you guys can offer! Kim from Concord, NH Feedback About This Post:RE: Cigarette Smoke Smell on Fleece FabricI would crumble a bunch of newspapers in a big garbage bag and put the fleece in on top and add more crumbled up papers on top. Close the bag and give it a coupole of days. Open bag and discard newspaper. This should take care of eliminating the odor. : ) Post By Debbie, Columbia, SC (Guest Post) RE: Cigarette Smoke Smell on Fleece FabricI would try washing in vinegar or using vinegar in the rinse. Post By Audrey (Guest Post) RE: Cigarette Smoke Smell on Fleece FabricIf the fleece is for pet toys, I would NOT use Fabreeze.. Try putting it in the dryer with a fabric softener square. You might even use two squares Post By Dyann (Guest Post) RE: Cigarette Smoke Smell on Fleece FabricWashing the fleeces in a eucalyptus wash should help, then peg them outside somewhere in the sun and the wind, this also helps to fluff them up. Post By Ellie (Guest Post) RE: Cigarette Smoke Smell on Fleece FabricIf possible, hang it on a clothes line like an upside down U in the full sun for days and days....! I have used Fabreeze to get the smoke smell out of used articles including books. Post By Tarolyn (Guest Post) |
