I see no references to WD40 as a way to fix faucets and shower valves that get stuck after buildup of mineral deposits.
Is there a danger of linkage after use of WD40 for this type of application???

* If you sprayed WD-40 on a wet car distributor cap, it would displace
the moisture and allow the car to start.
* WD-40, long known for its ability to remove leftover tape mung (sticky label tape), is also a lovely perfume and air freshener!
* Sprayed liberally on every hinge in the house, it leaves that distinctive clean fresh scent for up to two days!
* Seriously though, it removes black scuff marks from the kitchen floor!
* Use WD-40 for that nasty tar and scuff marks on flooring. It doesn't seem to harm the finish and you won't have to scrub nearly as hard to get them off.
* Just remember to open some windows if you have a lot of marks.
* Bug guts will eat away the finish on your car if not removed quickly!

When chopping wood all day, WD40 removes pine gum and sap from axe handles and prevents getting blisters or callouses. Also works fine on wheel barrow handles.

Using WD-40, As A Hand Cleaner
When you are painting, or any type of mechanical work, or working with dirt, anything that will leave your hands with a substance that is hard to take off. This will work.
Note: Be careful not mix any harmful chemicals together.

I've found that the easiest and best mark remover is Mr. Clean's "Majic Eraser". It works like a charm.

My local thrift store tends to use a wax pencil to price their items. WD-40 removes the wax pencil with ease.
