Ball Point Pen on Leather Ottoman

I'm freaking out... my year old wrote with ink in quite a few areas on my new leather ottoman. I tried aftershave and hairspray and it's taking some of the clear coat off of the leather and leaving a rubbed off white mark.

Any Suggestions?

You can use the leather ink remover here - http://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/LeatherInkRemover.htm

It also comes with a re-colouring balm that will reinstate the area you have already damaged
