Favorite Bulbs and Plants CatalogBarbara from Cleveland, OH Feedback About This Post:RE: Favorite Bulbs and Plants Catalog
So many garden catalogs, so little time. I received a record number this year. I think 17 or 18. I like Pinetree Garden Seeds (superseeds.com,) they are very economical. Beginner's would probably need some help, as they don't have a lot of pictures. They have limited varieties, too, along with soapmaking supplies, skincare oils, books, oh my they have books, and some tools. I also like Jung's and Park Seeds. Last year I ordered some Lily bulbs during Dutch Gardens season end sale, and the bulbs were enormous. Another time I ordered lavender from Burgess (eburgess.com,) and I couldn't get over the quality of the plants for the price. It's been 20 years and they still charge the same price for the lavender plants. Their S&H went up. Carol Post by Carol L. RE: Favorite Bulbs and Plants CatalogIf you are interested in daylilies, the best place I've found is Gilbert Wild in Sarcoxie, MO. They also carry a large variety of ferns and iris. Check them out at www.gilbertwild.com. Once you get on their mailing list, you'll receive a catalog, then follow-up sales flyers with great deals. Everything I've ordered from them over the years has done well. I've found that daylilies are addictive--so many to choose from and so little yard! Barbara, Post by susan matthews RE: Favorite Bulbs and Plants CatalogGurneys! Post by LuvMyFurKids RE: Favorite Bulbs and Plants CatalogI like my regional catalog, more acclimatized to local conditions. Here in the Pacific Northwest it's Skagit Gardens in Mount Vernon, famous tulip and daffodil country. Google them and your jaw will hit the floor.
