OK RELAX! Post By mcmillan968 (Guest Post) RE: Pumpkins Turning Orange EarlyFall fairs are starting soon in a lot of places. They always have pumpkin judging contests, and theirs are always fully orange. I really don't think it's too early for them to turn. Post by susanmajp RE: Pumpkins Turning Orange Early
google growing giant pumpkins. See how they keep the pumpkins from rotting. Then scale it to your needs. Post by dollar out of a dime RE: Pumpkins Turning Orange EarlyThe same thing happened to me last year. I left them alone (it was really hard!) and they made it. I think that as long as they're kept dryish so they can't rot, they'll be fine. You could prop them up on something so they're up off the ground a bit. I'm trying to think of something that would work, but I'm drawing a blank. Maybe a pallet of some kind? Just make sure they stay on the stem and dry. I hope it works! Post by Beth - MA |
