Growing: Cherries (Cherry Trees)By Ellen Brown
Feedback About This Post:RE: Growing: Cherries (Cherry Trees)I have a Bing Cherry tree and a Black Tartarian Cherry tree spaced about 15-20 feet apart. Both trees are very healthy. The Bing is about 20 feet tall and the Black Tartarian about 15 feet tall. But, we have never had cherries on either tree. They are supposed to be pollinators of each other. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions for getting them to start producing? Post by acourtright RE: Growing: Cherries (Cherry Trees)I have 2 semi dwarf trees which I have had for 3 years. The year I purchased them I was able to pick quite a few cherries. This spring however there were hardly any flowers. Any suggestions? I live in Western Washington State and have a 4 year old dwarf cherry tree. Last year I had a ton of fruit on it but they all dried up on the tree and fell off. I'm trying not to repeat this again this year. Any help or suggestions? Post By Sorin (Guest Post) | |||||||||||
